We are excited to announce that we are now a 5013c non-profit organization!
The Mooch Memorial Fund was established in 2009 by Drs. Sam and Annemarie Yoder, owners and veterinarians of Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic. The fund was created in order to help the community and their four-legged family members receive the veterinary care they need.
Things come up, and we understand that. Oftentimes, pets need medical attention at inopportune moments; for many families, this is difficult. We wanted to be able to help with this. Over the years, we have been very fortunate to be able to provide many pets with the care they need through fundraising efforts and donations. Each year, we hold a variety of fundraising events, like our annual rabies clinics, pet pictures with Santa, holiday bake sale, holiday wreath sale, year-round equal exchange candy and coffee sale, dog walks, and more! Our plan is to continue to grow the Mooch Memorial Fund and be able to offer even more to the community.
Our clients are our neighbors and friends, and being a part of such a great community motivates us to want to give back. Stay tuned to this page to see what new events and products we're offering to raise more funds for this growing organization!
Can't attend one of our fundraising events? You can stop by the clinic to purchase Equal Exchange fair trade products like chocolate, coffee, and tea, or organic items like lip balm and soap, which directly benefit the Mooch Memorial Fund! You can also donate right here, through our website! Just click the link below to donate. Thank you for your help in providing medical care to pets in need!

Kind Words from Our "Neighbors"
"From the moment you walk in the door, everyone from the check-in to the doctors treat you like family. Silver Maple is a wonderful place to bring your pets."
"The entire practice truly loves animals you work with, and it shows. May you always be a blessing to our furry friends!"
"Financially it has been hard to bring our dogs in for regular check ups. We were worried about Rusty being in pain and made an appointment to have him seen. Dr. Yoder treated Rusty with compassion and made us feel reassured that we did that."
